This was the second fish of a muskie double header. The first one hit less than two seconds before this one, both in open water.

The first was a 47", this one was 49.5". I (Mark - Greg's brother) caught the 47" on a shallow running believer, but unfortunately i released it before we could get a picture. We were amazed to find two fish like this in the middle of the lake - we were actually in the process of going from one location to another, but just decided to keep the lines wet. Perhaps the fish had followed the lures for a few hundred yards before striking. I had just increased the trolling speed seconds before the first hit, then as i cut the motor, we got the second one.

Truly an amazing experience.
